Well, the post title was asking such a basic question I didn't bother looking at it!! It was only after I saw it was 9 pages long that curiosity got the better of me!

You can wade through this sort of thread a bit quicker if you set your number of posts per page to 30. (I tried the higher option a while ago and it failed.)

Only disadvantage is if you're referring to a page number (or linking to a page?).

You know, I've only been on here for two and half years, and I've never actually bothered to find out about how you actually make it work!! Multi-quotes are still a bit..... whoaa!!, let alone getting all fancy with modifying the default settings. Tis Witchcraft, I tell thee!!

That pretty much sums up the positive and negative sides of internet forums.

On one hand you hear things you otherwise wouldn't, but should.
On the other you hear things you wouldn't and shouldn't. :)

TBF a lot of the banter and *cough* constructive criticism on here is a milder version of what you would get on a big site / factory etc.

People who turn up and pretend to be something they are not (not just on the electrical side) usually get a shed load of abuse for putting others in danger and stuffing up and are then unceremoniously shown the door.

Why is site mentioned every time with abuse!
Firstly who the f*** would want to work on a site and its a bit like saying because theres racist in Italy its ok to be be racist in the uk
Scary to think all these on here whom justify abuse what else they are capable of justifying and they talk about dangerous electricians Pot kettle black seriously springs to mind here.
 
I would love to know were anyone on here has aimed abuse at anybody...taken the mike, as some keep bitting.....

Italy is more famous for its facists than its racists (moot point perhaps?) Anyway, one less up here, now Sunderland have de-ported theirs, pity, he was taking them down at a startling trajectory.
