Discuss jib card problems ! in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I am looking to upgrade my jib card and I'm wondering if I should be paying for it as I'm employed and on the books ? Also I guess I will have to take the health and safety test ?

Depends if your compay is a JIB company the yes they should pay it if not it's down to you. Unless you have one of the exemptions then you will need to tke it

I have another reason for needing...its my backup for if I go to a job and they dont believe im a sparky cause im a girl. Had a few people near end of my apprenticeship that refused me access.

I will renew...just not in a rush too. I had an email about the single register. I skimmed it but it didnt actually have much detail on if when etc.
