I know one or two people here work for megger, does anyone know if it's possible to replace the test button on this tester. The small metal contact within it broke in the past and I replaced it but it has now gone again. This isn't my main tester but is a very handy back up!
Cheers folks,
Si

Hi eggster71

Unfortunately the BM200 has been an obsolete Megger product for a while, we have no spares for these particular instruments.

I own a BM200 for many years, always worked flawlessly, until a few weeks ago after not using it for about 9 months, replaced all batteries and when I switched it on it showed an Er5 on display and on the various functions worked arractic, can you helps to identify the issue and how can I repair it.

I've never been able to get hold of a service manual for the Megger BM80 or 200. It's a long term goal of mine as I like them.

I've had plenty of them open , and the user-service tasks are pretty much changing fuses and cleaning the contacts on the rotary selector switch.

If it isn't battery, fuses, or the switch contacts it's pretty much game over.

My Megger BM200 shows on display Er5 Does any one knows what this is?
For years it have worked flawlessly, didn't use it for several months, recently I tried and display appears erratic and shown Er5. I always kept it good and in original case. Any suggestions
Thanks
