Hi All

Just wanted your views on this

The company i work for has installed a new replacement boiler and we haveinstalled a new programmer and wireless room stat.
we are using an existing circuit so a minor works will be used.

I’ve been told I’m going overboard certifying it, but i believe all jobs nomatter how small should have a cert for them

what do you all think ?

i would do one, but not essential if the circuit has not been altered.

You are correct. ALL electrical work, no matter how minor, must be accompanied by the appropriate paperwork, even if it is just an accessory replacement.

But i can't say that i used to practice what i preach all of the time!

Cheers……………Howard

i would do one if there was anything below par on the installation. e.g. high Zs or missing bonding, just to cover my arse.
