A builder who owes MILLIONS all over the country both in bad debts and poor workmanship remedials has just relocated from Somerset back to the Gloucestershire area.

If this post can save just one member from being ripped off then I'm happy.

Is it me that just does things a different way ... last bad debtor to me was frogmarched to a cash-point machine .... not many people dare argue with the local MCC as they don't mind watching my back when some low-life scum tries pulling a fast one.... tis a great thing been in a profession that can build you favours up ........

My mate done this the other week, well sort of...he followed the customer down to the bank as he only had £50 cash at home for a £1400 job.

The customer when asked for payment on completion of the work (which he said he was happy with) said to his daughter, looks like we cant go on holiday now as Ive got to give the electrician all of the holiday money. The little girl burst into tears

Trying the emotional blackmail or what!!

My mate said, look we agreed the price and job beforehand, you gave me the go ahead and Ive also got a family to feed so pay up and then they both drove to the bank!

Will a Judges summary be sufficient public record?! There is actually much more to this link which is private - but you should read the Judge tear these two new a*holes when he eventually goes to judgement. Something like £650k against them off the top of my head just for remedials alone!!!

Somebody who loses £27K to a builder is unlucky but there are times when we all need to walk away from bad payers. Cut your losses!
