New and seem to have broken the whole site

Hullo!
I realise I'm breaking the curse of the New Member Introductions thread whereby people post once and you never hear from them again - but started posting just the other day.
I thought I'd edit my Profile, wanting to play around with pictures and colours. Attempted to add profile pic which proved impossible as there's no option to do that in settings. Attempted to send PM and I'm not allowed yet. Well then it all went to hell, I'm told the server's down continually and I spend more time trying to get on here with a frozen screen than I do reading the forums. Anyone else? It's just me isn't it...?

It was playing up about half an hour ago, but it's flying now, for me anyway.

I'd have P.M'd, but it was playing up..........

Welcome and yes its been down a few times tonight but luckily this isnt the norm.

Welcome aboard......forum was playing up abit earlier and i'm guessing there was one of two problems:

A) the back up generator was staked so failed to work properly

B) the hamster went on strike and refused to get back on it's wheel until better quality nuts were provided.

You appear to have correctly gauged my level of technical understanding. And there was me trying to blag it.
