Hi Guys

Done CU (peak & off peak) upgrade last week, they've got EDF Economy 7.

E7 only does an overnight immersion, rest of property is on the peak supply.

Had call from customer saying E7 overnight immersion is not coming on ? Just trying figure out what may have happened.
Tested out at time IR and R1+R2 all good.

Any ideas please would be appreciated ?

Didn't touch any of the tails linked to time clock.
As had power off for 4-5 hours could this have 'upset' the time clock somehow ?

Thanks Sy

It's a spring reserve time switch so should have kept time, but either the reserve isn't working or the clocks coincidentally packed up with loss of power.
They haven't been fitted for a good while now.

If the spring reserve failed the Immerson would have come on later, but still at Off peak rates as the meter won't have changed over either.

You need to check Timeswitch time against real time.

I'm calling back on an early one 'off peak' to see what's happening/ to not......

How do I check please if reserve isn't working or it's packed up fully?
Not really sure what I'm looking at.

Assuming time dial on front should have some sort of indicator on it ?

Appreciate your help ;-)

Yes you can turn it to see if it is switching. The pegs on the back of the clock face pass over the on and off mechanism switching them, the outer one is off and the inner one is on. It will make sense when you turn it, you can see the off peg through the arced slot by the blue arrow on the pic @snowhead has put up.

Thats was a great help mate, thank you..... saved a 06:30 visit tomorrow? Just called back twisted time clock around and there we go live tests.

Issue was live core pinching on insulation in rcbo, not making contact - my bad ?
