Do you mean you have load on the feed side, and feed on the load side?Struggled with this yesterday & cocked up, would it still be ok to leave this & mark the appropriate terminals differently.
Load in the wrong terminals,it’s a 35mm Swa sub main, still got tails to connect into
Yea…oh dear might be a problem thenDo you mean you have load on the feed side, and feed on the load side?
If so, not really, the fuse would still be live and connected when "switched off " - the live feed is supposed to be isolated from the fuse by opening the switch.
It does show the load side on the cut outYea…oh dear might be a problem then
Kicking myself made the other end off ok…just got mixed up with the in & out…reckon I maybe able to make off again & gain a-bit..hopefully..it’s not the greatest S/Fuse for 35mm..the earth only accepts 16mm.Crimps and heat shrinks in in order.
I doubt it gonna try & move to the left & gain a bitis there enough slack in the SWA to lift it up and enter the enclosure higher up, soas to reach the top terminals?
DefinitelyIt does show the load side on the cut out
You need to go to specsavers,
I would screw a new earth bar at the top of the boardKicking myself made the other end off ok…just got mixed up with the in & out…reckon I maybe able to make off again & gain a-bit..hopefully..it’s not the greatest S/Fuse for 35mm..the earth only accepts 16mm.
The Swa comes from a duct,& the enclosure tight to the floorRe-terminat swa in the top of the board , put tails gland in the hole at the bottom
bingo jobs a goodie
Yea still not a great deal of room…wish I never startedI would screw a new earth bar at the top of the board
Flip the board 180 thenThe Swa comes from a duct,& the enclosure tight to the floor
Thanks for all replies will try & gain a bit by moving to the left off to another job now have a good one?Might just have to be solder/crimp and heat shrink and run them around the right of the switch. It looks ‘close’ Will it shove along to the left at all?
I’ve made a similar mistake once. (Assumed old switch and new were the same in my case)
I also thought that and I like the idea but you can't terminate into the side of those so it might not work for OP.As a last resort maybe change the switch for one that has line in at the top, like this Lewden fused switch for example
I'm that particular unit doesn't accept side entry which is absolutely useless. Fitted 2 last week and was fairly dissapointed with the quality of them.As a last resort maybe change the switch for one that has line in at the top, like this Lewden fused switch for example.
Ok I reckon will re do & see how much I gain on the Swa…I'm that particular unit doesn't accept side entry which is absolutely useless. Fitted 2 last week and was fairly dissapointed with the quality of them.

16mm mate?Got one of those to do on monday with a 35mm swa. What size are the earth terminals on the main block -
It's hateful when things like that happen. It's the sinking feeling when you see it afterwards. We've all been thereOk I reckon will re do & see how much I gain on the Swa…
Exactly! But for the grace of God go I...It's hateful when things like that happen. It's the sinking feeling when you see it afterwards. We've all been there
Yea I actually didn’t see it on site.. went to bed & it just came into my mind did I actually connect it that way…looked @ the pics in the morning & there it was….shocker? It's hateful when things like that happen. It's the sinking feeling when you see it afterwards. We've all been there
