TNCS system am I mad went to a house today PME system PSCC and PEFC are supposed to be the same got 4.8kA at main switch and when I did the PEFC I got 7.1kA is this correct and if not what would cause it.

Sorted just tried the same tests at home looks like my meter may need to go into early retirement

Megger 1552 readings at home are all over the place as well one minute its 5.1kA kick the dog and cat go back test again and its 7.5kA. Pets know whats coming they run off I go back and check and its back to 5.1kA.

Uo/Ze gives me 7.6Ka

was the earthing conductor connected when you did the pscc? if not if not the test would not have included parr earth paths but pefc would which could increase the ka reading
 
Were you using the standard Megger croc clips? I've found these a bit iffy when testing - they quite often need a good squeeze onto the cables to make a good connection.
 
I have very limited experiance but I thought pssc and pefc are usually different by how much I don't lmow but usually I find one to be about 0.34ka and one to be about 0.36ka but this is at my training college so not sure about reall world.

And you just record the higest one as your PFC I belive?.
