next thing i'd do is replace the switch. possible transient caused when it switches off. simpleand cheap. if it fixes, fine, if not then FI.
 
If all else fails employ one of these:

I have just returned from walking Mabel - our Jack Russell and realised I forgot to suggest you inspect, test solidity of and where required tighten up connections, especially Ns and cpcs.
