I cannot remember for the life of me,what the old trade name was,for such a product...it was used extensively from the sixties onwards,for schools and garage roofs etc...Stranset or similar...kept dry,it is probably a better,more durable product,than the minimum standard cavity bats,LA allow...:artist:
Also, with a 35mm back box, it's interesting getting a fixing into it.
Make sure you know how thick the walls are. I once chopped a 35mm box into straw wall and stuck in in with gripfill. I used 2 25mm woodscrews to hold it in place while the gripfill set. You cold have hung a cap on the screw sticking out of the wall in the next room.
