Supply Cable Location

the electric supply cable to my property is fixed to an external wall and is with touching distance from an open window. Is there a minimum safety distance requirement or is this ok?

It’s an overhead cable coming from a pole.

The cable is a modern concentric type and is fine. Not so sure about that joint, if within reach.

Thank you, that’s my concern.
I wondered if there any regulations for that so I can discuss with the supply company.

All looks quite new so should be safe, the joints I think are a type called insulink and are preinsulated crimps so should also be ok.
Supply companies comply with different regs than the IET regs. I don't think the supply company would change anything. If it really bothers you, you could ask for a price to have it undergrounded.
