Evening all - I have been asked by a client to rewire a 2 bed flat above some shops, currently occupied. only snag is the want it surface mounted, this isn't really my bag so I was looking for either an idea on price and or someone who covers Harrow area to actually come and carry out the works.
property has a loft if required its all on one level
kitchen 2 sockets 3 fsu 1 cooker feed 1 central light
bathroom with 1 light 1 shaver
hallway 2 lights 2 switch locations
smoke in hall heat in kitchen CO for boiler
bed 1 3 sockets 1 light
bed 2 4 sockets 1 light
lounge 4 sockets 1 light

just do it in 25mm mini trunking. use the pvc patresses with trunking adaptors. piece of pi$$.

Can't see why you wouldn't do it - should be nice and easy! Daz

Remember the metal clips in the trunking in escape routes. Let's have no more firefighter deaths due to entanglement in surface wired propertys

Good point. Few extra pence makes it compliant with the regs and much safer. Daz

I would have thought with a loft to hide the wiring in there would be no overhead trunking and therefore no wiring to fall
