Hello,
I added a 240v insta hot water heater at the kitchen sink. When the water heater is in use the lights in the adjacent dining room flicker when the heater goes off. There is nothing common with either circuits. The dining room lighting and the heater are separate individual home runs and tied into the electrical panel. I checked all wires in the panel and tightened them all for loose connections. The lights are led’s and we are using a good quality dimmer.
Has anyone seen or heard of such an issue and maybe have a possible solution?

What is the KW on your water heater rated for. I’ve seen them as high as 16,000 Kw and yes it is possible that your lights can flicker when the water heater first kicks in.
