what satellite meter does everyone use

i wish i had kept my horizon meter from my days at sky.

still get people calling me with sky problems but without the meter its like a spark fault finding without a tester.

Horizon HDSM satellite meter and HDTM DVBT meter both great, had them about 3 years. Very reliable.

And very expensive. I still get calls to sort out sky stuff but I can't warrent paying out for a horizon

ive got an Horizon HDSM and a HDTM. Have had both around 3 years and no problems at all. I prefer to use seperate meters as if one goes faulty then i only have to reapair/replace 1. Ive also used the Rover combined sat/tv meter which was very good on DTV but drained the battery very quick on sat.

Tv work - my Swires "Terry" tester, excellent tool.

Satellite work - I find my old Rover SDM so easy to use.

Still must be money to be made in sky. Can charged 60 notes just for the guy to connect an knob (that I supplied) and point it in right direction. Easy money!

There is money in Sky work - Although there's a lot of people doing it.

im selling my horizon hdtm and hdsm meters if anyones interested....ive just bought a rover atom as insurance have just paid out from when my van was done over before christmas.
