I believe that GAS and ELECTRIC should both be treated the same.

They both cannot be seen or smelt and they are both potential killers.

The problem with the World Today, regardless of what you look at, is too many people are trying to save money! Some things just have to be done the right way.

Take myself for example, I am not an electrician so I DO NOT mess with it. I value my life and treat GAS and ELECTRIC with the utmost respect.

I have worked on the construction of a GAS pipeline so know a bit about how much of a killer that is! ELECTRIC is the same and as suggested it should be regulated equally.

 Basically when electrics are installed there are two ways people do it. The way where everything is tested to ensure it is working as expected and is safe, and the other way which is known as 'wire it, fire it and leave'. By that I mean fit the wiring, switch on the power, lights light up ok, job done, take the money and run.
