    hello all i have a cable coming from fuse board in wall for 0.5 meters ,under the floor boards, up a riser then clipped above insulation in loft , i would class this as "clipped direct" . what do other people think ? right or wrong ? thanks in advance for replys

    hi, i am putting in a 95000w shower, the cable will be run in a stud wall and then clipped to a joist in the loft but what refernce method would this be classed as would it be either 101 or 102 depending if cable touches wall?? im not sure if thats right. Cheers sam

    Prefered wiring methods for external lighting

    Just to see other opinions on wiring for outdoor lights. If the cable was 2.5m ish up the wall would you prefer to use conduit then pull through t+e, singles, SWA, Hi tuff cable or ordinary black flex. Reason for asking is this... ..done a quote today and been round to the house to hand it...

    3 methods od carring out continuity tests

    Hi does anyone know the third method of carring out a continuity test method 1 is using the link to L-cpc in the c/u and measuring the open resistance the other end. Method 2 is the long wandering lead Method 3 is it some sort of live test like a loop impedance test? How do you do it?
