Evening all.
I started out down the Domestic Installer Route quite some time ago.
I'm now hoping to complete the NVQ 3, think getting the full qualification is the only way to go.
Been doing domestics for 4 years and obviously got the 17th and Part P but also 2391-10.
What I wanted to ask...

My brother is seriously considering having solar panels on his house.
The roof is facing south, south west, and is not obstructed.
How would he be able to decide if its worth it or not?? Yes this sounds a daft statement!!
He lives in the Leighton Buzzard area.

I just booked a flight to the UK with KLM airlines. On top of the excess baggage charges, the premium cost flight and the extortionate airport taxes they tried to add on a 'CO2 Zero Tax'. The way it was presented I thought it was mandatory but after some investigation it appears to be voluntary...
I have heard a rumour from a friend of a friend that big free solar (50kWish) will go ahead after the cut as there is a 30% tax rebate for Entrepreneurial Investment. For the city investment folks the new tariff will be irrelevant. How a government guaranteed return is classified as...
Just want to check how this compares against others.
Have recently had to go VAT registered.
Asked my accountant what his fees would now be ?
£200 per quarter for vat
£200 year for tax return
So that gone up from £200 a year to £1000, great !
Is that about right, think I may have to look...
I know in the end it doesnt matter as the disclaimer says you might make zero but seems to be so many calculators and different companys giving different quote figures for the FIT investment figure so wondering which do YOU use personally? Or how do you work it out?
for example a £1000 per year...

Hi there
I am a householder who had a loft conversion done in June. At the end of the work we received a NICEIC certificate. We recently received a letter from Niceic asking us to return the certificate as it wasn't valid.
