hi guys, im fitting a 10.8kw mira sport max, i have read various threads on this and i think 10mm cable is suffice but the problem is at the moment my cable runs into the old cooker fuse on an old fusebox which is 30a.

I know i need an rcd fitted, it is wire through an isolator switch.
Can you please advise what i need to fit? eg rcd etc

25mm cable direct to cut-out fuse.:27: that'll solve the volt drop. why such a ridiculous size shower? a 7 kW gets you just as wet.

Seeing as your profile says you are a carpet fitter, i suggest phoning an electrician would be a good start.

GET HELP ON SITE DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF.

You will need the shower installation certificated anyway, so call in an Electrician to start with, not the fire service after you put 47 amps on a 30 amp circuit.
What do think of carpets fixed with panel pins or thumb tacks, dumb, so take advice with electric regulations, on the way that it must be done !
