I can tell you what I think.. but it's not particularly well informed.

Heat required may damage insulation.

Twisting the conductors may stress them.

I wouldn't trust Half this lot with a soldering iron never mind that set-up.

The whole process seems a bit extreme and time consuming to me. Have they not heard of push fit connectors? Give me a few Wago lever connectors and a pair of cutters and let's have a race!!!
