we asked 100 electricians forum members, would it be correct to say, that on page 53 of the IET wiring regulations book, it is a requirement to main bond central heating and airconditioning systems?

When you say "we" do you mean "you" and when you say "asked 100 electricians" do you mean " I thought about it and made the answer up as I see it"?

Incorrect,

It is a requirement to main bond extraneous conductive parts, such as central heating pipes and aircon amongst other things.

So the requirement is to bond extraneous parts and the example of parts that might be extraneous includes central heating pipes and aircon.

There is also a section in the regulations which gives a definition of what an extraneous conductive part is.

well I had a relapse earlier in the week and the vet gave me more meds and yesterday I was a lot better.

Tidyboiler came over yesterday afternoon & we had good curry and she stayed over until teatime today. Before she left I went with her shopping at Sainsburys and managed to drive there and back in the MR2 and walk all around the place without my walking stick and wasn't too tired when we came back home so that was a big improvement so I've had a truly great day, thanks. :)

And we didn't leave a load of carnage, spill blood or have any assistants in tears! Result :dita:
