Hello All,

as a struggling beginner it is very difficult to get everything that is needed becuase of limited funds, a pridicament which i am sure is familiar to most of us. With that in mind can anyone help me get my hands on a copy of the BS7671 and its admendment 1?

Many thanks

Go to Fleabay (or somebody on here may have one for sale) for a cheap copy of the BRB. For the BGB you will have to stump up the new price on Amazon, but don't bother purchasing that yet as it doesn't become active until next year and most of it is additional stuff in specialist areas rather than changes to existing regulations. Learn the bulk of BRB and then the transition to BGB should be less traumatic.

There is a pdf version of a scanned copy without the amendments, do a torrent search.

Hopefully the amendment 1 version will be available as a torrent.

When the last transition took place between the 16th and 17th our local college sold the 16ths off for a fiver. Worth a try!. Then anything else you need to know , ask on here.

Check out ******* they have a PDF of the Red Book on there, atleast can then review that until price of the green book comes down a bit.

I picked up a brand new copy of the BRB and the On-Site guide this morning on fleabay for £31ish plus postage. A saving of around £50 odd quid from the amazon pricing!
