why did you not ring the scam you are with and get clarification.Today had a building control chappy demand I notify a new fan in a new en suite bathroom. Told him the fan was out side of the zones and therefore not notifiable. Due diligence was done with testing and a minor works cert produced . He was adamant tho . . . . .
Already checked on nic website..... as lo g as outside of zones it's not notifiablewhy did you not ring the scam you are with and get clarification.
Don't think the zones comes into it.
A Bathroom is a special location, same as a Kitchen.
Providing it's not an upgrade/swap in the same location, it's new, so notifiable.
Apologies, I was wrong. I tend to treat kitchens with extra care anyway, pull cords and plug sockets more than 3m from the sink etcA kitchen is no longer a special location for part p and was never for bs7671.
Quicker than quick...https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...achment_data/file/441872/BR_PDF_AD_P_2013.pdf
Indent 2.6.
Different in Wales, and completely different in Scotland & possibler in NI.
PS silly question, the body of the fan is not intruding into a zone, is it.
