Discuss EICR on marina helpppppp in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Beware of multiple earthing systems in use on different sections - e.g. TN at the origin but TT for the finals, separated at a DB. Unusual conditions sometimes occur at marinas because of the tendency for the earthing system to produce galvanic (DC) potentials w.r.t. boat hulls and fittings that drive stray DC currents through the CPCs. As mentioned, specialised knowledge may be needed to fully evaluate marina installations.

If you’ve been reading I’ve put I’m an apprentice and I’m working with people just like to ask on here instead of looking stupid at work but thanks for your help
Ok, but generally as an apprentice you are expected to ask questions in order to learn. If you don't feel you can discuss things you don't understand with those you are working with there's something wrong mate.
