What are your thoughts?Doing an eicr ... shed.circuit ...6mm swa feeding shed cu.. 3 sockets(32a) mcb lights( 6 a ) fed direct from main switch output ...what code would you give
It's being supplied directly from the Main Switch output terminals I think.Well it kind of depends on what size the MCB is in the main CU that is being used to supply power to the shed, and also the size of the cable being used for the sockets and lights in the shed?
there's no OCPD in main CU for the 6mm. that's the query. I'd give it a C2.Well it kind of depends on what size the MCB is in the main CU that is being used to supply power to the shed, and also the size of the cable being used for the sockets and lights in the shed?
Oh I see. I thought he meant it was being fed from the main switch in the garage CU, but re-reading it I think you guys are right. C2.
that's as maybe, but what about a fault on the SWA?I was thinking c2 but could go with c3 as max the circuit would pull is 38a (cu in shed has 32a and 6 a mcb) 6mm swa more than capable of 38a
Be dreading any other problems which might need a bit.Not a question the OP should even be asking, it requires no thought.
