ptfe?
why not run a little silicon around the thread first and again when you have finished and it will be water tight then
Copper conduit and be done with
Wonder how much that would cost?? Much of the Houses of Parliament has copper conduit installations, i know that project came with astronomical costs...
Valid question and you're almost right. Some of it was 22mm plumbing pipe and some in 3/4 hard drawn refrigeration pipe which was close enough to being 20mm and would accept fittings or could be threaded after swaging very slightly. The refrigeration pipe came in 6 m lengths which saves a lot of hassle on longer runsMarvo, is it actual copper conduit or did you just raid a plumber for some 22mm pipe?
Is the point of copper conduit instead of steel simply the appearance as it ages, or is the better conductivity a factor as well?

So long as it is continuous you can guaranteed to be meeting the earthing requirements
You can easily achieve that with any steel conduit system, but you won't see the values that a copper system will give you:teeth_smile:
Nothing like stating the bleeding obvious I suppose (You missed off the LOL!!, are you feeling unwell today E54?)
There is no bloody pleasing You is there!! lol!! How's that then, happy now!!
