i am after a hoover- dust extractor for occupied properties to attach to my chasing machine (sparky) i want makita ideally.
what would you guys recommend.

Don't think the Makita ones are that good (or so I'm told). If money no object Hilti - it's what the wall tracking companies use that I bring in for the bigger jobs.

I use this Nilfisk though. Great job, long hose as well.
 
I have a Hilti hoover (110V) and it's fantastic.

I also have a Metabo tracking machine with a Metabo hoover with power take-off (both 110V as well). This is also a brilliant setup.
 
Anything above a few metres of tracking I bring a wall tracking company in, there's a good few of them in Northern Ireland but we are a bit different this side of the pond with everything stuck in conduit. I think @Phil Thompson poses on his facebook page with a wall tracker though, won him a rewire recently I think.

All I get if we are tracking walls is that we are noisy bar stewards, three blooming times this year from neighours
