BRB 559.6.1.6

refers to lighting circuits incorporating lampholders beiong protected by a max overcurrent device of 16A.

But what about lighting circuits that dont incorporate lampholders, such as plug in ceiling rose arrangements feeding fluors or lay in grid fittings for example?

Can anyone quote a reg that would cover such a lighting circuit and its maximum device rating?

i dont think that there would be any maximum rating for other types of lighting, as long as the cable is large enough ect. Ive just scanned through that chapter of the BRB, and cant find anything
