Hi lads ,
I was asked by client to rewire the cooker but asked me to do it sourface . What should I use for better ? PVC conduit or self adhesive trunking ? I think the conduit it’s looking better.

Thanks

What is the cable run like, how many bends or sets are required, how long is the run? sorry for all the questions. What size cable have you calculated you will need.?

So why don't we wire lighting circuits in 2.5mm2 for future proofing?

2.3kW is the load so the circuit should be designed to that load IMHO.
The diversity applicable to the current demand for a cooker is shown in Table 6.2as 10 A plus 30% of the remainder of the total connected load, plus 5 A if the control unit includes a socket outlet.
Is only simple oven , what about next year they change it to oven with grill , top one electric ( now is gas) they have to rewire again ?
