Potential Power

Hi Guys

Have had a days heavy reading on the forums today, and would like to thank all of you for the information you provide here.

I have purchased PV*Sol and would like a bit of advise from any users experienced in using this.

Does anyone have any advise they can give on setting up geometry on a hipped roof using the photoplan part of the software. I have tried so many different ways now I have lost track. The hip measurements just do not calculate anywhere near true to the actal measurements on the building.

Also the economic efficiency pages, which I know do not calculate properly at the moment for the UK market, and so Solar design have suppliued a spreadsheet to adjust these. Can anyone go through a basic tutorial on what figure goes where within PV*Sol for the FIT and cost of the project, and then how to get these into the spreadsheet for adjustment and then back to PV*Sol to include in the customer pack ready for the quotation.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm now running out of hair to pull out on this software.

Thanks
