Hi does anyone know of a decent type of light fitting to replace 400w low bays, with a decent lux level and less to go wrong with? Also at a reasonable price?

a low bay is pretty simple on its own, only a ballast, ignition and lamp

the control gear and lamps usually last for years

LED is the only real replacement but there still very expensive.

or use flourescent lights

i think they do a 400w fluorescent type low bay
