The difference between beer and ale is the way it is brewed and the way that the yeast ferments.

to get back to the question " testing live wires", no need for neons, volt sticks, or any other form of electrical test equipment. all you need is a couple of horses

So m8 lots of very useful help from the guys on the forum .... It seems to be a fad at the moment ....ripping into folk and going off topic.
Hi guys, I'm after advise on checking live wires. Do I need a circuit tester or can I use the Electricians screwdriver I have, and if so how does it work. Many thanks

A lamp incorporates a bulb. The glass casing of the lamp is the bulb. The complete article is a lamp.

So apart from what you grow in the ground, when it comes to lighting a bulb is simply a bit of glass which will do nothing to illuminate anything on its own.

Ha ha ha, this topic has cracked me up!!!

I always say lamp... But then I can tell the way people look at me as soon as I've said it they think "don't you mean bulb"

So I say lamp... Then bulb straight after if I'm talking to laymen..

Ha ha, so that's my reply to the OP.

(get an approved voltage indicating device to GS38..(gives you a mark on your 2391))

is a john drummond test lamp a BC lamp or a ES lamp.
