You mean lamp - screwdrivers go in the ground.what colour is the bulb in your screwdriver?
what colour is the bulb in your screwdriver?
Florence Nightingale was the "lady with the lamp", not the "lady with the bulb".so... edison didn't invent the light bulb, he invented the light lamp. all is become clear ( or is it pearl)

aren't genies made up of DNA
not when it's a daffodil
but her lamp had a candle inside it. so a lamp it the whole light unit, later versions , obviously came with a candle bulb, not a candle lamp, as that is what she had in 1875

EXACTLY................................. I thought that Neon Screwdrivers were banned years ago!!! Do they even manufacture them anymore???sorry, mate. if you are asking that question, electrics is not for you.
So m8 lots of very useful help from the guys on the forum .... It seems to be a fad at the moment ....ripping into folk and going off topic.
they do, and they even give them away at stalls at the side of the electrical safety council ??EXACTLY................................. I thought that Neon Screwdrivers were banned years ago!!! Do they even manufacture them anymore???

You tell me mate? As far as I've always been taught neons are a big no no, but then again, I do commercial and the odd domestic.I just brought the new Wera Kraftform VDE 7pc set, and this comes with a neon tester...
So if there that bad and crap why are top brand manufactures still providing them with there professional quality screwdriver sets??
I was supprised to see it in the box
The only things neon drivers are good for is testing out your safety goggles when smashing with a big hammer.
to get back to the question " testing live wires", no need for neons, volt sticks, or any other form of electrical test equipment. all you need is a couple of horses
thought he was matches
If they're like like cows they'll go up the stairs but they won't go down them.He tried that first but couldn't get the horses up 5 flights of stairs to his flat.
