Mine was like that , though she usually stripped the bark of roots underwater. She was a proper water baby.
I thought ours was the opposite - if we walk down a path after rain he avoids puddles. At first I thought it was just random chance but after enough times you can't reasonably accept it as that. But one time I was walking across a bridge over a shallow stream and he decided to paddle through the water rather than follow me over the bridge. That surprised me. It's not that he has an aversion to bridges. We crossed a couple of them to get there.Mine was like that , though she usually stripped the bark of roots underwater. She was a proper water baby.
I can imagine you did.If my dog was in the water , sea , river or lake . She would stay there all day if you let her.
One day she was in so long she developed a condition that i had not hear of till then.
The day after , when she tried to get up in the morning she could not stand , or put weight on her rear end.
I took her straight to the vet , who diagnosed her with 'Labrador s tail'.
Apparently they use their tail as a rudder , and it causes them a lot of pain. I felt really bad about that at the time .
I can imagine you did.
Did she recover?
Pleased to hear it.Yes tough as old boots. Pain killers and spoiled rotten, she was fine in a day or two.
Ours is actually quite gentle with them. Pablo (yes that's his name) will run around with Max. Max, being a collie, can run like the wind. But he goes just fast enough with Pablo to make it a chase. Otherwise it would be a no contest. The important thing is that they both enjoy it and get exercise.Mine hates little dogs going underneath him and usually let's them know pretty quick.
Definitely obvious before and after there @SparkyChick!

Did you close the 'iron curtain' over their cage each night?Had 2 Budgies when I was in the USSR called Gorby and Chov
No mate Gorby died of natural causes, Chov didn't last much longer, Chernobyl had just gone critical, and I was due to come home anyway, RIP Gorby and Chov.Did you close the 'iron curtain' over their cage each night?
I take Chernobyl wasn't a parrot but the power station! No mate Gorby died of natural causes, Chov didn't last much longer, Chernobyl had just gone critical, and I was due to come home anyway, RIP Gorby and Chov.
Correctomundo my Friend, that era scared the brown stuff out of me I can tell you, I have some Cancer now, so draw your own conclusions!!!!!!!!I take Chernobyl wasn't a parrot but the power station!
I agree Mate but I was always fit, smoked a bit, all our food was checked but only with the most crude equipment, you tell me it didn't give me what I have had.Nature has taken Chernobyl back but people also moved back and grew stuff. That's the weird thing about radiation - nature doesn't see it - unless you get corn with 2 ears! I guess you don't see it in vegetation but mammals you will.
Is that a cat denim jacket @JK-Electrical, did he put it on himself?
This little dog was chasing after Max and biting his tail..........
A little bit later:
Little dog:
"Lets kiss and make up."
Max:
"Listen you annoying little turd. I have my big left hook ready to wipe that stupid grin off your bl00dy face."
