To be fair all you have to do isolate the supply to the coil and the equipment will be dead.
Are you allowed under safe isolation to rely on a contactor for safe isolation, don't think so, lockable isolators spring to mind

I was waiting for that post, i am aware of safe isolation, and so should all those working on electrics.
Was pointing out that there was no need to isolate multiple circuits to work on the lights, only the control circuit to the coil. It should of course be done safely but thats down to the person whos going to work on the circuit.
