No. Not if it cannot be touched.

Is the supply TN-C-S?

Then you also have to be quite sure nothing is attached to it (e.g. lights, etc) otherwise under open-PEN fault conditions you could have those cables burning up as several tens of amps try using a 1mm CPC to divert to the Earth.

I am not sure what the supply is yet as scottish power haven't yet done there installation yet but I'm certain there will be no structural steel to touch and no fixings or anything will be into the steel
