Hituf all the way flex never sits nicely clipped, it just sags and you have to have a million clips in it.

:nonod: This is absolutely not practical as we can't carry with us tins of paint of every possible colours to satisfy customers' taste, LOL!

Just one tin of invisible paint, costs a bit but the customer should be happy with it if you're a good salesman.

If it's council I doubt very much they will pay any attention to the colour of the cable to your lights, they will be in and out your house within an hour as they have another 4 PIR's to do that same day

less than that mate as they didnt even bother turning up maybe tomorrow lol

just turn up and expect you to be in and as i wasnt friday and the mrs was but is disabled and has been ill for days they were supposed to come today so i could move anything in there way like large pieces furniture

think i should just leave them to it lol and let them do whatever so you reckon they do 1 light 1 socket type pir lol or maybe he did a drive by today and did it while he was sat accross road in van lol

Great thread, des56 voIce of common sense as usualDid look into this once as I too knew white reflects black absorbs so why black? Reason is to do with chemical properties of black pvc cable. Will dig it up and post. Nowt to do with the old white/black thannng.
