Is it possible to get rid of one light switch and extend the wiring into another so that this one controls all the lights? I’m knocking 2 rooms into one in my loft. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Anything is possible if you know how to do it...
might be wise to get a sparks involved to help rehash the old wiring and pull in some new cables before you do the boarding
