Is there an earth wire there (green/yellow)?

It should be exactly the same connections as the original, the top two wires on the old into the top two on your new switch.....etc
BUT....as above. The earth terminal on your new switch MUST be connected to a reliable earth. If there is no earth in the wiring to your original switch or it is not certain do not proceed.

It doesn’t matter what the terminals are labelled as. L1,L1,L2,L2 or L1,L2,L3,L4. Both work the same way.

With the switch in one position, the switch joins the terminals in parallel… ie, L1 joins to L3 below it…. L2 to L4
With the switch in other position, the connections are in an “X” shape… L1 with L4 and L2 with L3

Mark the two top reds with a permanent marker or a bit of tape or something before disconnecting. It doesn’t matter if they get mixed up left to right, but it would top to bottom.

Hopefully that helps…. But please take note of what’s already been mentioned about earthing the front plate.
