charge them in car, and if you needed for long periods, you would try and use actual work lamps with plug top.... i might invest in a 5 million one..... of course il read what says on pack first.....
 
If you just want a general illumination light for everyday stuff, you can always just get a maintained fitting and stick a plug on it for about ÂŁ20-25. Great for CU changes in understairs cupboards!!

Thanks, yes that the sort of thing - just looking for something a bit more robust.
 
i got a 25m extension reel from lidl and has 120w halogen lamp built onto front which plugs into one ofthe sockets, and people always say thats a good job. think was 27 quid and had it a while now.. got me moneys workth
 
I have a Nightsearcher Workbrite on order, it looks OK and Nightsearcher have a very good reputation for rechargeable floodlights. The buying point for me was LED, so I am not getting scorched and it's very bright with a good few hours use from a full charge.
