I'm currently looking into a EV charging course. I've seen that the NICEIC offer a course but wondered if anyone has done it and reccommend or any advice on alternative courses.

I did the NICEIC EV course a few years back. Was perfectly fine, nothing negative to report. Presumably its the online course? If you're getting their 12 days of Christmas emails you may get a discount code for the course come through at some point.
 
Did it myself was a general introduction into the main issues with regards earthing considerations, different types of charging and importance of surveys prior to install. all very basic but enough to get you thinking.
Course will suffice for the OLEV registration.
Didnt pay a few hundred for the city and guilds. If you are familiar with the iet code of practice and follow manufacturers instructions you cant go far wrong.
