The Taj Mahal did have a lamp post go missing back in 1972............Hi. Thanks for all the replies, especially the funny ones.
The hinge to the door has broke and I can't see how it could be repaired. So the customer has asked me to try to find one similar. She is Indian and I did wonder if she had brought it over from there?
When I saw the photo that was all I could see, that bloody reflector lamp. Really annoyed me to the point I commented out loud to myself. Tell the customer off next time you are there.I like that ornate as it is, it has an R63 or R80 lamp in it - the least ornate ever!
That is who you want to repair it, a person 40 yrs behind in technology. Thanks for all the suggestions. I will look into seeing if anyone could repair it, but where I am sited is 40 years behind in technology!
Adam & SWD great links, they look the kind of thing.
I will see whether the customer wants to go repair or new.
Thanks
Malc
