Hi Guys,

Just designing some Arrays for new builds, I have used Maservolt 600 for a couple last year which is ok for 2 panels (2x500) however I would like to offer something at 750Kwp ...Other than string inverters is there anything else you have used .....

Out of interest, has anyone else done new build minimum requirement installs ...what panel and inverters have you used.

Cheers

yeah 750wp ...lol !

I have done 4 x Up Solar 190 Wp and used Sunny Boy 1200 as the panel voltage is high on the upsolars meaning it will work with this inverter.

Just out of curiosity, have you been asked to tender by a building firm?.....beware you will be chasing your tails a lot and some firms will have already chosen their supplier already and just sending tenders out to make sure they get 3 quotes. They also might use the cheapest quote to get the price down of their preferred installer.

We have done 3 quotes for 3 new developments and not heard a thing back from them after knocking our price down on one and answering quite a few queries with one job.

yeah agree with Ian, also some of them don't give a monkeys about the MCS and don't even bother applying for the FITs. They just install to meet building requirements.

i'd never buy a new-build unless i built it myself.
