How to fail section B. Not measuring the continuity of earthing conductor. not removing parallel paths. Not testing to the the pipework when testing the bonding continuity. Not testing the integrity of the cpc at all points on the S-plan.Not proving polarity on all circuits. Not performing all three steps on the ring cct.Not verifying your ring cct values. Not removing equipment that could be damaged with 500V dc.Not testing the lighting [two way and intermediate] as stated in the GN3 insulation resistance. Testing ring [3 tests] and sy cable 6 tests. Not disconnecting earthing conductor when testing Ze. Not re-connecting said conductor when testing for PFC. Not testing PEFC and PSCC take highest value and multiply by 2. Not recording values correctly on SOTR. Not carrying phase sequence. Just a few point to watch for. If you follow GN3 you'll be OK.

Got my AM2 coming up on Monday, when conducting an R1 + R2 test on the s-plan heating system, would you connect the line and cpc in the DB, switch the FCU on then test between L&CPC at every point on the heating system and then note down your highest reading?

Secondly, how would you go about ins-res testing the s-plan? Do you test it in two parts, DB to the FCU and then secondly the switched side of the FCU to all parts of the heating system?

If someone could clarify that it would be a dream come true.
