Currently on a job which is a garage extension. I have lots of cabling dropping down to multi gang switches, sockets etc and a small DB. The ceiling is however a fire barrier. Does anyone make a low profile steel trunking that will butt neatly to a metal clad socket or small DB?

Get some metal trunking Catalogues from your local Wholesaler and make your choice fro there.

Has to go through fire barrier ceiling and building inspector say no to PVC. Must admit in retrospect, running PVC trunking round the walls below ceiling may have been easier than running everything through the joists.

There was one or two companies that did manufacture metal mini trunking but I can't remember who they were or if it is still available since a lot of the trunking companies around 25 years ago have merged, been taken over of gone bust
RS sell aluminium mini trunking but it's quite expensive
