Well, he's a teacher now!
I've had the same before Howard. The only way I get it working is to re plumb it all.
Saying that I had a central heating system fitted last year and the corgi registered all singing all dancing plumbob gas man didn't think about bothering installing the metal insert in the plastic crappy Hep20 connections he's put all underneath my floors.
Glad I'm moving soon!!
That happens more often than you think.
It shouldn't, but it does!
Yeah I don't doubt that.
He never responded to any phone calls or emails when water started falling down into the living room..
Attempted to provide fair feedback (4/10) on checkatradedotcom (where the missus found him) and it never appeared - so that website is a loada rubbish as well.
I never bothered with those website things and I've never been a fan of plastic pipes since I brought a ceiling down soon after the stuff appeared on the market, but to be fair, it wasn't the pipe that failed - it was the fitting, but since then I have only used it as a sort of Get out of Jail Free" card.
Very interesting Chris I wonder what effect the chemicals added to the heating systems will have on the plastic in the years to come?
Chris your posts are always a joy to read, all the colours of the rainbow arty:
Ok only 3, but still....
