Terminating SWA with Wylex REC Supply Isolators

Okay, I now understand Ryefield board. So this covers the fused part but I still need the switch bit?
Single switched fuse on each leg seems to be the answer as mentioned a few times, but it would be nice to have a single box soloution. Does such a thing exist?

6 by 6 steel trunking or bigger in an E shape, terminate all armoreds into the top row of the E then have the two banks of 6, wylex 63amp switchfuse isoloators with a space next to it for the DNO's meter.

You only require single pole isolation on TN supplies, and that can be achieved using a ryfeild board or similar.

each installation will also have a main switch in the CU.

So you don't think it wise to have a isolator per SWA after the meter so it becomes possible to isolate one sub main without shutting down the whole building

Quick cheaper and takes a lot less room!

Nice solution but although unlikely, the 250a switch wouldn't be rated high enough for the loads, ie maybe 30-40 amps per flat at peak times like 5.30pm when there all cooking dinner and having showers after work. Would be a great idea if the switchgear was rated higher, probly why a ryfield has been suggested as is made for the job.

How do you split the tails 12 times without a Ryefield?

Surly that's the DNO's job, UK Power Networks into Meter, then Switch Fuse from the meter to CU ?

I believe I currently have an 8 Multiway Cut out, looks like a Ryefield. But I'm not 100% sure on that.

I'd hope it would be mate because the biggest supply the DNO is likely to give on a block of bed sits is 200a tpn max
