!..I need to earn £1800 pm as a self-employed Domestic Electric installer..!

In Germany there is a price book that is set, so if it says $60 to change a socket thats the price. Painters earn more in my experience and if they quote for a job, generally they will get a wks work from it, unlike electricians that take the same amount of time quoting but will only get a days...

Hi, i am studying my 3rd yr 2330 and soon to do my fault finding, and was wondering if you had a L-E fault if the mcb would always trip or if just the rcd would trip sometimes on a 17th edition board?

Roomstat wont work after board change

Yes it worked fine, Didn't disconnect it tho, but was careful only doing I/R test L-E, N-E. The only thing that could have caused any damage? was rcd auto test from out going on mcb and earth bar. Never had a problem before tho.

    Goodbye Mr City & Guilds

I am currently doing 2nd yr of level 2, the tutors at college said the same thing on Tuesday. You wont be allowed to do plumbing, gas or electrics without a job. Also said that there's talk of tightening up the rules about "domestic installers" as it's a loop hole around things and was only ever...
