    Hi All, I am having problems finding a fault and would appreciate any ideas, I have got an RCD on a ring main and on some sockets all tests are great but on some sockets the RCD is tripping at greater than 40 ms on 5x test any ideas?

    IR tests ok 250v but 500v

    Hello, can some give me some advice on what the problem could be with the ring final im checking before changing the cu, did at test with line & netural joined and tested to earth at 250v and got 25Mohms so went to test at 500v and got 0.35Mohm. thanks jimmy

    Hey peeps, looking at the new 1730 MFT from Megger, currently using the 1553. Just wanted to know if any of you are using it and what you think? Also interested in the no trip test speed, is it much faster??? How long do the batteries last...etc. Any info would be much appreciated.

    What is the proper procedure for ELI testing circuits with UPS back up, ie radial circuits under computor room floors? Do you test with the mains bypass connected? with the UPS/ mains in normal operation? or in UPS status only?, ie mains failure. Thanks.
