Busbar cut down

What do people use to cut down a Busbar (also not sure if doubles s or two Words)
Do you use just a hacksaw

yes, i just use a hacksaw and hold it with a pair of grips or a vice if avalible

What size busbar?
For big ones a hacksaw chopsaw or grinder. For the little ones in a CU I just cut it with a pair of side cutters

Depending what size busbars a cordless bandsaw also works well.

side cutters for domestic, makita tct circular saw for anything my cutters can't handle. I think my hacksaws taken gardening leave....

Firstly,a two pole tester...its' saved me a lot of hacksaw blades :tounge_smile:

If the domestic ones then as above - sidecutters to put an indent to both sides then pliers to break off - quick and simples.
